Or perhaps the simplicity and cost effectiveness of traditional spot color screen printing will do just fine. With Think Logo, we can make just about anything possible when it comes to your screen printing needs.

High Resolution 4 Color Screen Printing Process

What Is High Resolution 4 Color Process Screen Printing?

High Resolution 4 Color Screen Printing is a high-end proprietary process that prints on apparel at 120 lpi (lines per inch). This is the highest resolution four color printing solution available in the custom apparel printing industry.

When Would You Need To Use It?

Typically artwork that has complex details, shading, overlapping colors and many colors is a good candidate for high resolution 4 color process screen printing.

What is The Cost?

High Resolution 4 Color Screen Printing is our most expensive screen printing option. Pricing varies based on number and color of garments. For example, printing high resolution on a black t-shirt will be more expensive than printing on a white t-shirt. This is because more ink is required to make colors stand out on a black t-shirt. Despite the higher cost, if you are looking to make a bold statement with your imprint, High Resolution 4 Color Screen Printing is the way to go!

Standard 4 Color Process Screen Printing

What Is Standard 4 Color Process Screen Printing?

Standard 4 Color Process Screen Printing is an economical alternative to high resolution four-color screen-printing process. It is a process of using varying transparencies of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow or Black Ink to create any color. It prints at a lower resolution – about 65 lpi – compared to our high resolution process.

When Would You Need To Use It?

Standard 4 Color Process Screen Printing is a good choice if you want to print full color with good quality at an affordable price. It is typically used to print photographic images and when it is ok for some of t-shirt’s hue to show through the design.

What is The Cost?

Standard 4 Color Screen Printing is an affordable option for printing full color artwork. Pricing varies based on number and color of garments. For example, printing high resolution on a black t-shirt will be more expensive than printing on a white t-shirt. This is because more ink is required to make colors stand out on a black t-shirt.

Traditional Spot Color Screen Printing

What Is Traditional Spot Color Screen Printing?

The most common form of screen printing, the spot color method uses the stock color of the ink without alterations. The ink is printed through a stencil in wide open areas of the screen mesh. This produces a vibrant solid “spot” of color. It also tends to produce thicker layers of ink depending on the ink and the mesh count used.

When Would You Need To Use It?

Standard Spot Color Screen Printing is ideal for most graphics and logos that do not require gradients or excessive colors.

What is The Cost?

Spot Color  is the least expensive screen printing option for apparel. It is most cost-effective for printing 1 to 4 colors. Pricing varies based on the number of garments, type of garments (polyester versus cotton), and color of garments (dark garments require more ink and are slightly more expensive).
